Quick Weight Loss | Lose weight quickly

A personal journey · est. 2026

I'm 60.
I'm done
being fat.

Following the Keto path back to who I used to be — and bringing whoever wants to come along.

01 · My Story

I've been doing the gain-weight, lose-weight, gain-it-back dance for longer than I care to admit. Diet on, diet off. Scale up, scale down. Pant size up, pant size down. I'm 60 now, and I look at that pattern and I think — that can't be healthy. Nobody's body was designed to be jerked around like that for forty years.

Here's the thing though. About 13 years ago, in my late forties, I did Atkins. Properly. And it actually worked. The weight came off, my head was clearer, I wasn't hungry every two hours. Life got in the way and I drifted, the way you do. But I never forgot how that felt.

So I'm going back to that same idea, in its 2026 form: Keto. Get my body off the sugar rollercoaster, back onto fat as fuel, and stop pretending willpower is the answer when biology is the question. I'm doing it in public — here, and on every channel I can find — because if you're tired of the same cycle, maybe it's easier with someone else doing it at the same time.

“I'd rather do this hard once than keep doing it badly forever.”

02 · Why Keto, for me

What I'm betting on.

Not a medical claim. Not a guarantee. Four honest reasons I'm walking this road again.

01

It already worked once.

Late forties, Atkins, same broad idea — the pounds came off and the foggy head went with them. I'm betting the body remembers.

02

It kills the every-90-minutes hunger.

When I'm on fat instead of sugar, I'm not standing in the pantry at 10am wondering what to graze on. The trigger just goes quiet.

03

I don't need willpower if I'm not hungry.

Every diet I've quit, I quit because I was starving and angry. Keto isn't about discipline — it's about not needing any.

04

It's simple enough that I'll actually stick with it.

No app, no point-counting, no special meals for me while the family eats real food. Eggs, meat, leafy greens, some cheese. That's the whole game.
